Find-A-Part Changes Hands

FIND-A-PART, the UK’s original ‘used car parts’ finding system has recently changed hands, and has been rebranded and relaunched.  The identity of the purchaser has not as yet been disclosed. But there is a new management team & the ‘relaunch’ is being overseen by Paul Fox, who is both a MVDA Committee Member & currently Chairman of EGARA (the European dismantlers’ Association).

The new FAP now offers the following to customers looking for parts:

§   No premium rate text messages

§   Simple free text parts input without complicated or confusing drop down  boxes

§   Ability to see who the parts seller is without premium rate numbers

§   No hidden costs whatsoever

§   Quality guaranteed parts

§   No inflation of parts prices - the price quoted is the price the customer pays

Analyses of requests show that 82% of customers are using Find a Part return on a regular basis, demonstrating its worth to customers. 

Following the recent changes, FAP say, there has been an increase in parts requests to such an extent that the number of parts suppliers needs to be increased to keep pace with demand.

For a limited time, FAP is offering a 3-month ½-price trial, and a discount for MVDA members.

Membership rates vary depending upon the number of makes/models/part types etc. for which a member wishes to receive requests.
